Assessing the Effectiveness of Alternative Developmental Pathways to Math and English Competencies

Integrating remedial and GE level instruction for the full freshman year has shortened the time to complete both requirements with higher success rates. Longitudinal data analysis in a large public institution has shown Statway (“Stretch Statistics”) and Stretch English to have long term benefits for retention and graduation.
