Assessing Student Learning: Creating Valid and Reliable Practices

The importance of developing assessment practices and measures that are reliable cannot be underestimated. In this workshop, participants will learn about measurement consistency in calibrating rubrics and scoring student work. Results will be evaluated using various reliability estimates and confirmatory practices to illustrate differences in the various approaches and how these are to be interpreted.
