Topic: Approaches to MQID
A university with a liberal arts tradition, religious heritage, and ethos of social action engaged its faculty to reflect on the meaning, quality, and integrity of its degrees through intergenerational, collaborative engagements. The activities culminated in MQID statements published on university micro-sites, new career outcomes assessments, and professional mentoring initiatives.
An MQI Task Force was formed in 2015. A Profile of a Graduate was developed to outline characteristics a graduate should possess with regard to values, attributes in a health care institution. Each program collaborated on a detailed rubric that addressed MQI facets and was analyzed. Processes and lessons learned will be outlined.
