Mexican Students' Mobility and Quality Assurance

Mobility programs are part of the internationalization efforts of FIMPES’ accredited institutions. Institutional accreditation has been done exclusively in private universities by FIMPES, since 1992. During this presentation we will talk about the data of students’ mobility in FIMPES universities, their participation in FOBESII, and its relationship with quality assurance.

WSCUC Accreditation: A Potential Instrument for the Global Good

While engaging in and achieving US accreditation is becoming an instrument of overall quality improvement for foreign institutions, increasingly and across multiple contexts these efforts are also leading to potential reforms, change, and innovation in the respective higher education systems. This session will share the experiences of several institutions in Latin America where the benefits have gone beyond the universities involved.
