It’s challenging to engage people in assessment, particularly at a large institution. CSUF utilizes a distributed leadership model, where assessment leadership is shared at multiple levels across campus. This model allows the university to involve the large campus community in assessment, and facilitates “closing the loop” at the institutional level.
