Challenges of Global Thinking while Acting Locally

The Affordable Care Act of 2010 focuses on illness prevention, access to health care, and a call to increase providers in all areas of primary care. The need for nursing graduates who are able to think critically and apply educational knowledge in the clinical realm is vital in the provision of population based care. Nurses need to have global awareness that can be applied in clinical practice.
