Retention Redesign

Pacific Oaks College has redesigned the admission counselor’s role to include the full scope of enrollment as an “enrollment counselor.” Students now have an advocate, friend, and counselor who knows them, their goals, and their story from the beginning of their program through to graduation. Within a year retention has improved year or year and term over term.

Learner-Centered Enrollment Management

Enrollment matters! We know that ensuring program quality, appealing to different learner populations, and meeting the needs and expectations of different learner types necessitates strong institutional commitments. This session promotes adopting a learner-centered enrollment management approach that places curricular strategic planning as the nexus of institutional and financial sustainability.
