Topic: Survey Research and Accreditation
A theme-based approach to self-review allows institutions to focus on mission-critical topics within the structure of the WSCUC guidelines. This presentation provides both the national and institutional perspective on how theme-based CIRP data can be utilized for self-study. How these theme-based approaches relate back to the CFRs will be included.
In an evidence-based culture of higher education, we are fortunate to have resources such as the NSSE and the CIRP portfolio of surveys. The present research looks to identify those items and constructs that are parallel and those that differ so as to ascertain the optimal administration cycle.
