Service Learning to Promote Self-Efficacy and Problem Solving in Occupational Therapy Students
Students lack confidence in their own problem solving abilities, which translates into a feeling of being “unprepared" for practice. Participation in a service learning experience in the Masters of Occupational Therapy program at the University of St. Augustine provides an opportunity for students to develop greater self-efficacy toward clinical problem solving skills.
