Creating a Culture of Academic Continuous Improvement: Putting into Practice the Results from Programmatic Assessment

Assessment must be more than a moment in time event designed to satisfy an accreditation requirement. Instead, we see assessment as the foundation upon which a culture of continuous improvement and quality is built. Universities use programmatic assessment results to facilitate continuous improvement and to foster a culture within the institution that is focused on quality in higher education. Peregrine Academic Services consults with universities located throughout the world regarding accreditation-based quality assurance and provides assessment exam services that are designed specifically to address learning outcomes evaluation. In this presentation, we will share several best practices that we have seen and used relative to creating and sustaining a culture of academic continuous improvement.
